NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – Recently, Curve Novelties, a start-up Novelty Company that has been in the works for over a year invited media powerhouse VICE into their HQ to learn how to make their own Dildo.
Curve Novelties pulls no punches with their products. Led by industry veteran Patricia Ratner who has worked on the DVD side of the business for decades and Erica Heathman who was an integral part of Topco, the new company just officially launched their company at the ANME Show. The year prior they had spent countless hours and dollars setting up their own in-house manufacturing so they could pour their own dongs and other toys in house as well as keep control over what ingredients and materials were being used in their dongs.
“We obviously went to China and toured a number of factories and once you have a look at where most of the novelties that consumers back home are buying and putting into their bodies, it really made us question what kind of company we wanted to be,” said Erica Heathman, Director of Operations and Chief Designer for Curve Novelties. “That is when we started bringing in experts to create our own molding operation in-house and be able to pour our own Dongs that are made of the safest materials available to us.”
Curve is etremely proud that they are able to offer a product that is made in the USA when 95% of Adult Novelties are coming in from China. The company claims to be one of three major manufacturers pouring their own product stateside,
The company’s assembly line of Phalate Free Phalluses intrigued the writers over at VICE and Curve opened its doors to reporter Mitchell Sunderland to come in and make his own Dildo. The story debuted on Broadly® which is VICE Media’s newest channel and geared towards a female demographic.
