Porn star James Deen on NASA space shortlist

Porn star James Deen is on a top NASA shortlist to be among the first civilians to go into space.

The X-rated actor’s mother and father both work for NASA and they’re hoping their son makes out-of-this-world history someday.

The Canyons star explains, “I am on a list to go into space. My dad put me on it. He thinks I’ll be one of the first civilians to go into space… I don’t think it’ll happen, because I smoke and I’m not that physically fit, but it’s kind of cool.”

And the actor, who often serves up out-of-this-world sex scenes on camera, insists his clever parents have no problems with what he does for a living.

He tells Playboy magazine, “My parents have always been supportive. They learned quickly that I was going to do whatever I wanted to do. When I started making adult films, their main concerns were health and safety. I assured them that working in porn is like working at McDonald’s or at a bank… It’s a job.”
