I’m not surprised. A member of Sex Workers Anonymous told me she had HIV in 1988. She was too sick to work and no one would take her in but myself when she became too sick to work. She was living at the Mary Magdalene Project to try and stop escorting when she found she still couldn’t stop so she reached out to us for help.
