Police say a postal worker in south Georgia killed a former model in gay porn who grew up in metro Atlanta, dumping his body in a wooded area near the Georgia-Florida border after an argument turned deadly.
Family and friends say Robert Glenn Hucks, 20, went missing on Jan. 17 after being seen leaving Metro, a gay bar in Jacksonville, Florida, where he lived. On Thursday, hunters found Hucks’ body in Camden County, Georgia, near the Georgia-Florida border. Hours later, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Jeremy Christian Pittman, a 34-year-old U.S. Postal Service employee.
Authorities allege that Pittman killed Hucks after the pair left the gay club. Pittman lives in Jacksonville but works in St. Mary’s, Georgia.
According to a report, Hucks had been featured in a handful of gay porn videos for Boy Crush with the stage name Ryan Morrison (NSFW). Gay porn site Dewayne In San Diego reported Hucks also performed under the name of Ryan Ray Gibson.
Hucks had left his part-time porn profession behind him and had posted to Twitter that he was looking forward to getting his GED and going to college.
Hucks’ case started as a missing persons investigation, but “thoughts of foul play” developed and homicide investigators were later brought in, according to Adam Brown, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Chief of Investigations.
After leaving Metro, Pittman and Hucks went to Pittman’s home. According to Brown an argument ensued, and Hucks asked to be driven to his home. Brown did not say what the two men argued about.
“Somewhere in between the suspect’s and the vicitm’s home, the suspect murdered the victim,” Brown said during a Friday morning press conference. “He later dumped the victim’s body in a wooded area in Camden County, Ga.”
