TMZ reported Friday that newly retired porn star (and professional drama queen) Lisa Ann had filed for, and received, a temporary restraining order on adult star Nikki Benz.
According to the report,
In the docs, filed Friday in LA. … Lisa says Nikki began attacking her on Twitter last December, and incited her more than 700,000 followers to do the same. Lisa claims Nikki was “encouraging and rewarding” those who made threats on her business and her safety.
Lisa — who recently retired from the biz — says the threats continued into January … including someone threatening to rape and kill her unless she deposited money into an account. She says the threats became so violent and frequent … she couldn’t go to the AVN Awards to accept her Lifetime Achievement Award.
Riddle me this — if Lisa is retired, why does she need a restraining order against a current performer? The Twitter fight is old news and Nikki hasn’t been threatening her online. Has she ever shown up Lisa Ann’s door? The only place they were likely to run into each other would be on sets or other adult industry venues, where a supposedly retired person such as Lisa won’t be.
Moreover, that’s not the timeline that most people familiar with the feud recall. By most accounts it was Lisa Ann who started the online brawl, and Benz says she has the screen shots of tweets, DMs and texts sent by Lisa Ann to prove it.
Lisa Ann told TMZ she couldn’t attend this year’s AVN out of fear.
Ummm…
This one’s from Lisa Ann’s own Instagram:
From her Facebook:
UPDATE: Although Lisa Ann told TMZ she was to be presented with a Lifetime Achievement award at the AVN Awards, AVN confirms that “No such award was slated to be presented to Lisa Ann at this year’s ceremony; she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2009.”
Nikki Benz hit back at Lisa Ann Friday night on Twitter.
In that last tweet, Benz references the January 15 XBiz Awards in Los Angeles, at which both appeared as presenters.
Lisa Ann was heckled during the awards ceremony, and later, before Benz and friend Jesse Jane presented the ‘Feature Movie of the Year’ award, Benz addressed Lisa Ann from the stage.
“Thank you so much for retiring, ‘coz there ain’t nobody like your ass in the industry,” said Benz.
The remark drew a huge laugh and round of applause from the room.
Likewise, Benz found support online Friday night…
The TRO requires Benz to stay 100 yards away — which she is no doubt more than happy to do. A hearing in the matter is scheduled for next month, and, if Benz can be served with the order before then, TRPWL will provide coverage of the proceeding.
