At the end of March my family received some pretty devastating news. We were told that my young son would require a second major open heart surgery. Since the announcement fans have overwhelmed me with positive messages and support. Many have asked how they can do more. So by request I have create this page. Funds will go towards medical costs (deductibles and things insurance won’t cover), post surgical medical equipment, and in hospital comfort items like books and children’s music.
Little man had his first major open heart surgery at 9 weeks old. The past month with have been going through tests and MRI’s so that his Doctors and Surgeons can decide the best way to proceed and repair his heart. I have had many people ask about what specifically is going on with my sons heart. His Aortic Valve that pumps blood away from the heart is not functioning properly. He has a sub aortic aneurysm and significant sub aortic stenosis.
We were told this week that surgery needs to take place with in the next 14 days and have been scheduled for May 16th.
I have been overwhelmed with the support and positive messages from fans. I appreciate it more then words can express.
