Trauma: The Story of Rikki Nyx, A Dog and A Cat (UPDATED)

A couple of weeks ago, on June 23, I noticed something odd in my Twitter feed: tweets coming from an acquaintance of mine named Brent (Twitter handle @JerseyShoreXXX) didn’t look right. The account was tweeting his ex, and it became immediately clear to me that it had been hacked.

Soon, I received this DM from the hacked account:

That was an attention grabber, so I reached out to Brent for the background…

Brent met adult performer Rikki Nyx, real name Nyla, in September 2012, after he shot her for the amateur site, Seducing Angels. “She moved in immediately,” Brent says.

Soon after, Nyla quit shooting scenes, and switched to webcam as well as other one-on-one entertainment.

Correspondence between the couple — provided by Brent — indicates it was an often troubled relationship.

According to Brent, Nyla could be the sweetest person in the world, but would easily slip into anger or violence if she felt she was nor being paid enough attention, even when it was due to something like him having to go to work for the day.

On top of the violence and the more mundane relationship stress, Brent says, Nyla also had a strange fixation, or “infatuation” with adult performer Kennedy Leigh. “She would create fake accounts and flag Kennedy’s photos,” he recalls.

He also claims that Nyla confessed to having a history of infidelity as well as making false claims of rape. But the heart wants what the heart wants, I suppose, and they remained a couple.

Nyla, by her own admission (in correspondence forwarded to TRPWL) began cheating on Brent this year. He claims that for the last three months she would tell him she was off visiting her family elsewhere in New Jersey, but was in fact seeing another guy — she maintains she cheated more recently than that.

Either way, that’s not why we’re here today; people break up every day.

We’re here today because of Buster.

Buster, a beautiful French Bulldog, was Brent’s baby. He and his ex had adopted Buster when they lived in Arizona.

On May 27th, Brent awoke, made some coffee for Nyla, then went to work, Two hours later, he got a phone call.

“Sit down,” Nyla told him.

She was at a veterinary hospital, and she had some bad news about Buster — his back was broken.

Nyla claimed Buster had fallen off the bed after Brent left. When Brent asked why she didn’t call him immediately after Buster was injured, she claimed it was because Buster had lost control of his bowels after the “accident” and she had to bathe him before taking him to the veterinarian.

Brent came down to the hospital, and when he began asking the vet questions, he says, Nyla kept hovering about.

The vet explained that yes, Buster had a broken back, but he also had serious blunt force trauma in his shoulder blade area and bruising that couldn’t be explained by a fall from a bed.

Brent was forced to put his boy Buster down.

“It’s one thing when a girl leaves you, it is a whole other level when she kills your dog,” says Brent.

“I think she was fucking around and she was looking for an out with me,” he continues. “She wanted me to blow up at her so she could feel okay about leaving. And she resented Buster because Cameron and I got it together.”

At this point we should probably mention that Brent’s ex is none other that Cameron Bay a.k.a. Cameron Adams. The hacked tweets that caught our eye were directed at her account.

“I’ve got some luck with women, right?” jokes Brent.

(For the record, whatever issues we have with Ms. Adams — and there are many — it’s clear that she loved Buster and we’d never wish something like this to happen to anyone.)

Brent says that Nyla was never close to Buster, and never wanted him in bed with them, etc., but in the last few weeks before Buster’s demise, Nyla started showing an interest in him, and began taking him places.

To Brent, in retrospect it all seems contrived.

Is this why she thought Buster had to die?

And then there’s this:

What exactly does “accidentally” mean in this context? How does one “accidentally” punch a dog — so hard that it causes blunt force trauma and leads to him having to be put down?

And now, it’s time to meet our final player: Annie.

This is Annie.

Annie is Nyla’s cat.

According to Brent, the couple had gotten the cat at Nyla’s insistence, but when she moved out, she simply abandoned it with him saying she couldn’t have a cat where she was going.

 

Brent says Italy was a cat that Nyla decided to get rid of on her own, following a fight which led to them being “broken up” for three days.

So folks, if you’re thinking of hiring someone for a project — or an event of a one on one nature — and you 1) love animals, and/or 2) like to avoid violence, and/or 3) like to avoid false charges of sexual assault, TRPWL recommends you keep this story in mind.

UPDATE: After this story posted, Rikki/Nyla began DM’ing the reporter. She opened the conversation with this:

UPDATE 2: Rikki tried to return to the adult talent pool in June, but was barred because she tested positive for STIs. Either she didn’t seek proper medical attention, or she had sex with Brent before the treatment had run its course. Either way, according to Brent she had sex with him after her positive test but didn’t inform him until mid-July that she “gave [him] something” — in this case, two STIs: chlamydia and trichomoniasis.
