She may have the record for being at the center of the most scandals in porn…. but one thing ex-performer, ex-talent agent and Mike South source Shy Love doesn’t have is a show on Vivid Radio. And she really wanted one, too.
Vivid Radio launched on SiriusXM channel 102 this week, with a program lineup featuring adult film stars past and present, including Julia Ann, Kimberly Kane, Annie Cruz, Penny Pax, Allie Haze, Raylene, Ash Hollywood, Debi Diamond, Aiden Starr, Penthouse Pet and L.A. radio personality Sam Philips, as well shows produced by big-time players in the adult business such as Evil Angel, Cal Exotics, Adam & Eve and, or course, Vivid.
Sources tell TRPWL that the widely-despised Shy Love lobbied to get a Vivid show of her own, but the concept was a non-starter from the outset.
Shy recently made news when it was revealed that she was responsible for subjecting adult performers to Cameron Bay, the troubled felon who contracted HIV and brought about two production moratoria this summer. When Love signed Bay to her agency, ATMLA, earlier this year, she changed the performer’s surname from Adams name to Bay, making it easier to hide her disturbing past from members of the adult industry.
But today, what we at TRPWL wonder is: how does Shy feel knowing that the adult performer whose career she did everything she could to squash — gorgeous AVN Best Body nominee Kendall Karson — has a Vivid Radio show of her own while Shy, a ten-year veteran of the adult business, was snubbed…
