I first learned of Sasha Banks when speaking to our mutual friend Daisy Ducati. She is still a rookie in the industry, starting with Kink in December of 2013. As Sasha prepares to branch out into working for other companies in the business, I interviewed her prior to AVN 2015.

How did you get into porn?
The adult industry was always something that interested me. From as long as I could remember I always had a high sex drive. I still remember waiting for my parents to go to sleep, so I could break out the porn and do naughty things to myself. As soon as I turned 18 , I did everything I could to get a get any and every adult industry job. I wanted to do what I loved and I knew it made good money. The perfect dream job right? Its the one thing I knew I would live a happy life doing. I guess I was born to do this…..
What have you done so far?
So far I have not done as much as I’ve wanted to, because I live a very busy life outside of porn life, I’ve just recently started to get more in to it and take it on full time. I have web cammed for multiple sites, shot porn for multiple sites, danced at multiple clubs and worked many events. I plan to do so much more with my porn career. So far all of my work is all girl girl work, I have done so much normal to crazy bdsm work. I have learned so much, the more I do the more I want to do.
You’re based in California, correct?
Yes, I am. I believe California is a good place to be if you are trying to be in the industry. It has many good career opportunities. It is actually a beautiful and wonderful place to live also. I highly recommend visiting. Although I am from Arizona — yes I am a desert girl — I came to visit and now I’m here for good.
How did you pick your stage name?
It’s actually a funny story. Well, my stage name is Sasha Banks. I am not sure if you guys are familiar with the celebrity, Beyonce? She had this huge transformation and became Sasha Fierce. Well, growing up I was always the ugly ducking you could say. One day some friends of mine gave me a life changing make over, and instantly saw how the transformation changed me and then I was called Sasha and of course Banks because I was in this industry and I wanna make Banks loads of money.
What is on your to do list?
To do list? I actually do not have a to do list. I actually do everything, so there is no need for a to do list. I try everything of course to see whether I like it or not. I never want to not try something. Life is about taking chances and doing everything. You never know what you would have really loved if you did not try it, but you know what you did not love. In porn you pretty much love everything though, I mean it all feels so good.
Who is on your to do list?
Everybody. A simple answer. Of course everybody is on my to do list. How will I know who I like working with and who I do not? Everybody is very nice and so easy to work with, I mean its basically hi nice to meet you lets do sexual things with and to each other. I meet a lot of great people and want to do them all.
How do you personally feel about boxed wine?
I’m actually not a wine drinker, I actually do not drink, very rarely I will have an occasional social drink, but for the most part I am not into alcoholic beverages.
I actually do not know what any of that is at all.
