A&E has a new original real-life show about swinging — which is when two partners in a committed relationship engage in sexual activities with others — and based on its premiere, the swingers might actually be cult members.  8 ways 'Neighbors With Benefits' makes swinging sound like it's a cult

Neighbors With Benefits features a group of residents, some of whom are swingers and some of whom want no part in the action, of an unnamed suburban community in Ohio. The show follows a handful of these couples as they explore their sexualities and have a little fun with the people they probably borrow a cup of sugar from every now and then. 

However, it’s soon clear that the swinging lifestyle — or just “The Lifestyle,” as it’s commonly referred to within the show — featured on the series has a few major things in common with a cult. And that connection isn’t too much of a jump considering one of the main swingers, Tony, is flat-out asked if he’s a cult leader within the first 10 minutes of the premiere.

Wow… What an absolutely ridiculous article. I’ve never seen the show, but the “8 similarities” Zap2it describes as being cult like are ludicrous…
