The house where filming for some of the infamous 1972 porn film ‘Deep Throat’ took place is on the market for $1.75 million.

Situated in Coconut Grove in a neighbourhood ironically named Ye Little Wood, 3980 Wood Avenue was the former home of international Miami playboy Baron Joseph ‘Sepy’ De Bicske Dobronyi.

3980 Wood Avenue in Coconut Grove, Miami, was the scene for some of the seminal 1972 porn-film 'Deep Throat' and is on sale for $1.75 million.

The four bedroom, four bathroom, 5,413 square foot property retains many of its 1970’s features and fans of the iconic pornographic film might just recognize some of the settings from the film.

From the listing photos available, two locations from the film still exist, the property’s wine cellar and a room that doubles up as the doctor’s surgery where star, Linda Lovelace, discovers the unusual medical condition which gives rise to the films title.

Fans of the film may recognize this room on the property as the location of the doctor's surgery where Linda Lovelace, the star of 'Deep Throat' is diagnosed with her peculiar medical problem.

According to the realtors handling the sale the glass home does need some renovation, but at the same time boasts a free-form pool that is surrounded by lush green-foliage according to Miami New Times.

The home was designed by Otto F. Seeler, who was a professor of architecture at the University of Notre Dame and because Dobronyi’s star sign was Taurus, the roof is in the shape of a bull’s head complete with two copper horns extended over the roof.

Famous as the first 'porno-with-a-plot' 'Deep Throat' has raked in as much as $100 million worldwide since its 1972 release.

‘There is truly a lot of history that goes with this magnificent property,’ said Donna Zalter, realtor associate for listing agent EWM International.

‘This is an opportunity for a buyer to build their dream  home or renovate the existing home in the heart of Coconut Grove.’

‘This home was legendary in the 1970s for the part it played in Miami’s high life.

Built in 1961, the Miami property was the home of legendary Bon-vivant, Baron Joseph 'Sepy' De Bicske Dobronyi.

‘This is a chance for someone to own that history and take possession of an exceptional piece of real estate in one of the city’s finest areas.’ said Zalter according to the Sun Sentinel.

The property was built in 1961 and Dobronyi lived in the home which sits on .62 acres of land until his death from liver cancer in 2010 at the age of 88.

In fact according to Lovelace herself she returned to the home after the filming for ‘Deep Throat’ had wrapped for ‘a brief but somewhat ecstatic encounter with Sepy in his bedroom.’

Despite the glowing endorsement, Dobronyi was not one for a kiss and tell.

‘I just don’t like this low-class way of talking about sex,’ said the annoyed host.

Known for his love of life, sculpting, art collecting, traveling and for his skills in seducing the fairer sex, Joseph ‘Sepy’ De Bicske Dobronyi was a Hungarian aristocrat.

Born in April 1922, he claimed to have been an ace fighter pilot with the Royal Hungarian Air Force during World War Two and came to the United States in 1959 via Sweden and Cuba after training as a jeweler for the Swedish Royal Family.

Claiming to have traveled to over 80 different countries in his life-time, Dobronyi also was known for his reputed romantic conquests of beauties such as Raquel Welch, Anita Ekberg, Eva Gabor, Brigitte Bardot and Ava Gardner.

Known as the Hugh Hefner of Miami, Dobronyi also counted talents such as Frank Sinatra, Bjorn Borg and George Hamilton as his friends, regularly hosting them at 3980 Wood Avenue.

Situated at the bottom of the property, the pool is noted as one of its finer features.

Indeed, with his silk smoking jackets and Viking-boat-shaped bed, Dobronyi was known as one of the great characters of his age.

‘I am always fantastic,’ he once declared to the Miami Herald.

Throwing incredible parties out of his Coconut Grove home, Dobronyi became known as much for his range of friends as for his seduction skills.

‘You never knew when you walked into the place whether you’d meet a porn star or the president of a foreign country,’ said Brad Herman, a plastic surgeon who rented a property from Dobronyi at 3980 Wood Avenue.

Dressing in tribal robes for parties and displaying his sculpture and collection of artifacts from his world travels, the Hungarian Baron has been described as a one off.

His choice of cars was as equally unique as his dress sense, with Dobronyi owning a Cadillac convertible with a nude female body on the front passenger-side door.

In 2010, after some of his belongings were offered posthumously for auction, Dobronyi became notorious for apparently having owned a pair of Queen Elizabeth II’s underwear.

He reportedly got them from a friend after the British monarch left them on a private plane after a trip to Chile in 1968.
