Prolific adult film star James Deen received the prestigious NightMoves® magazine’s 2014 Best Male Performer award. The honor was announced at the annual NightMoves Awards on Sunday, October 12.
Held at the Tampa Gold Club in Tampa, Fla., the event honored Deen and a host of adult stars before hundreds of fans in attendance. NightMoves’ editorial staff voted on the award for Deen.
“I’m very grateful to the NightMoves staff for this award,” Deen said. “It has been a great year, and I am really looking forward to everything else the year has in store for me.”
The NightMoves Awards, started in 1993, is the third oldest, continuously running, adult awards show in the United States, trailing only the AVN Awards and the XRCO Awards in longevity. The NightMoves Awards was the first to allow fans to select the winners, making it the original fan based awards, as well as the first awards show to allow on-line voting. In addition to the fan awards, the show presents Editor’s Choice awards based on reviews of DVDs in which the nominated performer has appeared.
This newest honor joins an illustrious list of awards the adult superstar has garnered since entering the industry in 2004. Deen’s accolades include multiple AVN, XRCO, XBIZ and Exxxotica awards, as well as scores of nominations over the years.
James Deen’s popularity goes beyond his work in movies to engaging fans via social media, creating engaging content for his websites, and participating in philanthropic endeavors.
