The former executive of the Jared Foundation, faced with child porn charges, tried to kill himself in an Indiana jail, authorities said.
Russell Taylor, 43, was rushed to an Indianapolis hospital where he was on life support on Wednesday, Fox 59 reported.
Taylor, who led the charity founded by Subway restaurant weight-loss king Jared Fogle, was charged on Monday in federal court after investigators raided his home and found more than 400 illicit videos, authorities said.
The repulsive recordings included footage of children secretly filmed in the bathrooms and bedrooms of Taylor’s home and former homes in Indianapolis, federal prosecutors said.
