She is hardly known for her shy and retiring nature.
But Jerseylicious star Olivia Blois Sharpe is hoping to stop her on-screen co-star and ex-boyfriend Lorenzo Gangala from selling a home-made two-hour sex tape featuring the pair for $100,000.
The make-up artist is said to be ‘freaking out’ about the development and is refusing to sign paperwork that would see it released on the open market.
An insider told the New York Daily News that Gangala, who also previously dated Olivia’s on-air enemy Tracy DiMarco, has been hawking the tape around porn studios in an effort to find a buyer.
The source said: ‘It’s one of the steamiest sex tapes I have ever seen.’
Apparently Vivid Entertainment, which previously snapped up the rights to Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, is keen to buy the film.
To do so however they need the consent of both parties, and so far Olivia has refused to sign the necessary forms.
The insider said: ‘Olivia is freaking out and refusing to sign a release.
‘Olivia does not want this out.’
The pair are fixtures on the popular the Style Network reality show, which follows the travails of the Gatsby Salon in Green Brook, New Jersey.
It has been airing since 2010 and is due to go into its fifth season.
According to the source the video was made before the show began production in 2009, when the pair were just unknown salon workers.
Los Angeles-based Vivid is one of the biggest names in the porn industry, and as well as the Kardashian movie, is also famous for distributing the Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson sex tape.
The development will surely add spice to the next series of the show, especially as Olivia’s current boyfriend Mikey Aktari has also previously expressed her disdain for salon assistant Gangala on the show.
Olivia has also slammed him on air, saying: ‘He’s a liar, a cheater. He’s a very good liar and manipulator.’
Vivid Entertainment owner Steven Hirsch, Olivia and Gangala have yet to speak out on the issue.
