A 47-year-old necrophiliac was caught in Cambodia after villagers noticed the man’s foot sticking out of a 17-year-old’s grave, authorities said Monday.

Chin Chean was arrested after he was found sleeping in a coffin with a corpse he intended to violate. The body was that of a 17-year-old girl, whose funeral Chean had attended the day before.

Around 10 pm Friday, Chean dug up the grave in the Kompong Trabek district of Prey Veng.

Authorities claim the coffin was too small for Chean to carry out a sexual assault in, and instead he fell asleep on the corpse.
