Ron Jeremy wants fans to get it up — a health checkup, that is.
The legendary porn star opens up about his 2013 health scare in his new documentary, “Ron Jeremy: Life After the Buffet,” which was released Tuesday via DVD, video on demand and iTunes.
“I want to be the poster boy to get your damn blood pressure checked,” he told the Daily News.
Three years ago, Jeremy suffered an aortic dissection, which is a tear in the wall of a major artery that carries blood to the heart.
If not for being rushed into emergency surgery, Jeremy would have suffered the same fate as “Three’s Company” star John Ritter, who died from an aortic dissection in 2003.
