2024 XBIZ Performer of the Year Seth Gamble has been honored with multiple awards nominations by the Doppio Senso Night Awards Show. The prestigious annual event is the creation of popular Italian journalist and host Mossimo Bonera, owner of Doppio Senso Night, a live weekly television show airing on Italy’s Prima Free network. For 2024, Doppio Senso Night is honoring Gamble’s exhilarating Reckless with a Best International Movie nomination, while the overall excellence of his work as a filmmaker was recognized in the Best International Director category.
Reckless focuses on the dilemma facing racing enthusiast and tech genius Silas Knight (Gamble, performing his first lead in a feature he wrote and directed). Fresh out of prison, he vows to straighten out his life and start a legitimate business with his beautiful wife Harlow Knight (Ivy Wolfe in an iconic performance). But the past just won’t let go, and he finds himself enmeshed in a web of greed and betrayal after creating a chip that radically improves car performance. From master mechanic Brooke Michaels (Kenna James) to corrupt detective Matteo Bennett (brilliantly portrayed by Hall of Fame legend Lexington Steele), everyone wants what Silas has. But when a dead body is discovered, all the evidence points directly at Silas, who gets arrested. Desperate to help clear her husband, Harlow throws herself at the mercy of none other than his former lover, Avena (Kenzie Anne), daughter of mobster Dino Moretti – played by Axel Braun, who also produced.
