Spearmint Rhino, a globally-recognized adult entertainment operator is coming to downtown Minneapolis.
Norco, Calif.-based Spearmint Rhino Consulting Worldwide Inc. owns clubs in the U.S., the United Kingdom and Australia.
It will soon have one more, Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club, a three-level strip club at 725 Hennepin Ave., said Cristina Kabanuk, manager at landlord BTN Properties. BTN also owns and operates the Skyway Theatre, Maruso Street Food & Cocktails and BarFly.
Kabanuk said Spearmint Rhino has been building-out the property since January. When it opens in mid-April, the 11,000-square-foot club will have two formal stages, a bar, a VIP section on the mezzanine level, a dining area and private rooms in the basement.
“They’re the powerhouse of their industry. And they have a more corporate perspective than local operators,” Kabanuk said. “They’re going for more sophisticated adult entertainment with a more upscale clientele. It’s definitely show business.”
