A Pensacola woman was arrested for prostitution when she when she accidentally solicited an Escambia County Sheriff’s investigator by cell phone, a Sheriff’s Office arrest report said.
The investigator reportedly received a text from an unknown individual on his county-issued phone asking if he wanted to “have fun,” the release said.
An investigation revealed that the texts were from 27-year-old Schquita Alaysha Warren, who reportedly believed that that the number belonged to an acquaintance named “Sam.”
Posing as Sam, the investigator arranged to meet with Warren at a local motel for paid sex, according to the report. At the motel, Warren was arrested and charged with prostitution.
She has since posted $1,000 bond and been released from Escambia County Jail.
