Industry Vet Gives His Thoughts On James Deen As Well As Deen’s Accusers UPDATED

This was sent to me by several people..Im posting without naming the person who wrote it..As one half of Prestige Worldwide said, this isn’t just some guy.Im leaving the name off as I wasn’t sent this, it came to me 2nd hand..If the person who signed their name to it chooses to come forward so be it..

There are many opinions on this, and when one pops up that’s interesting I’m gonna run it..Posting this doesn’t mean I’m endorsing it, its just an alternative to the norm..

Update At Bottom

So let’s talk about James Deen.

It’s likely you won’t appreciate what I’m going to say. It’s possible this will end a few friendships and a several business relationships. So be it. I’ve spent this last week sick to my stomach because, as a man, I’m not allowed to speak about this, and I’m tired of it.

Here’s the thing; James Deen is an asshole. I know because I’m an asshole, and it takes one to know one. He won’t deny that. He’s had moments of being a prick, a diva, and a rough sex performer.

That’s a very different thing than being a rapist. And it’s also something you could say about every single man in this industry from time to time. I don’t care who the guy is, somewhere there are ten girls with the same stories about him, possibly true, possibly not, probably somewhere in the middle.

This is a long email, so let me save you the read if you like. Below, I’m going to go through, point-by-point, and explain why this is bullshit. And the thrust is, if you’re a woman, it’s time to speak up. A dozen women in the industry have told me “I wish I could say something.”

Well, it’s TIME. Even if you think I’m full of shit, you should speak up. But if, like Jodi Taylor, Asphyxia, Julia Ann, Lisa Ann (Jesus Christ, I’m actually forced to side with LISA ANN, people!), you think this has been a fucked-up embarrassing sideshow, it’s time for you to grow a pair and stand up. As women, you are the only ones who can. The men in the room aren’t allowed into this public discussion; we’re instantly discounted.

I think it’s time to get involved.

But let’s talk about what I KNOW, because I feel that maybe I have some insight into this that others don’t. Let’s start with Stoya.

I know that Stoya posted a scene with James and Dana Vespoli on her website, Trenchcoat X, the morning before her tweets that began this mess. Then, later that day, she learned from Conor Habib that James and his current girlfriend are buying a house together, and that’s when all hell broke loose.

I know that the reason James broke it off with Stoya is he got tired of her threatening to kill herself, and alternately, him. The night it came to a head she was hanging from his balcony over a fatal drop threatening to let go. When he decided to call 911, she told him she would claim assault and rape if the cops came.

When he didn’t want to foot the bill to ship her things back to New York, she again threatened rape. She used the phrase “all I have to do is say it. Who’s going to believe you?” I’ve seen the texts.

This isn’t new. She did the same thing to Marilyn Manson. Just ask Tony Ciulla, his manager. Unfortunately, neither of them can or will go on the record because, again, men. Not allowed.

I know that for months after they split, Stoya was texting James begging him to stay in her life and take her back. “You’re my heroin,” she would say. He still has those texts as well, and is resisting the urge to release them because he’s such an asshole.

I know that five weeks after they split, Stoya HIRED James to shoot this scene with HER, that she directed. Because she was that upset about the “rape.” Please watch this scene unfold and draw your own conclusion as to their dynamic

This leads me to Joanna Angel.<– REDACTED—>. Was he emotionally abusive to her at the end of the relationship? Absolutely. He doesn’t deny it, and would do it differently if he could.

Was the relationship a living hell from the beginning, as Joanna now tells the story? No. Plainly not. And was James the only one at fault for their issues and their breakup? I think we all know that simply isn’t how relationships work. Was he the prime culprit? Yes. But Joanna had her own issues.

AND AT NO TIME DID HE RAPE HER. EVER. So WHAT, precisely, does her harbored anger and bitterness about James’ success in the business (Because that’s the REAL story here, ya’all) have to do with Stoya accusing him of rape?

Zero. Nothing. This is simply Joanna’s need to grab the spotlight so she can trash Bryan because she’s plainly not over him. She isn’t supporting Stoya; she’s indulging her own resent, and I find it shameful.

Again, there’s being a dick and being a rapist. Two different things.

The Ashley Fires story I like. While she CERTAINLY isn’t telling it to get attention, the salient point is that she said “No, James!” …and he STOPPED. Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what your SUPPOSED to do when you misread the signals and get out of line, isn’t it?

To Amber Rayne, who disappoints me most, and Lily LaBeau, I say this: Porn is a full-contact sport. Especially if you’re doing a rough scene. Both of these stories have been conflated since I first heard them, particularly Amber’s, but even if they were true as told, neither girl had any lack of understanding as to what she was getting into.

An NFL player doesn’t get to bitch about a torn hamstring or a concussion from a hard tackle. That’s what you fucking signed up for. When Lily got her jaw dislocated, Kink was still Kink. It was serious business shooting for them, and many girls wisely declined because it wasn’t their thing.

But you KNEW what you were getting into going in.

Look, this isn’t independent film, and porn stars aren’t actors. They’re athletes hired to exploit their physicality for the entertainment of others. Sex is our business, so, right or wrong, those personal physical boundaries just don’t exist. And not just for women; ask Prince or St. Croix or Anthony Hardwood about their penis injuries.

Everyone on set gets groped, molested, flirted with. Sexual harassment is our entire business model.

As for Chico Wang, he was renowned – and despised – for shooting exactly what Amber describes (Except for the closed fist; if you dig up the scene, you’ll see James is slapping her, not punching her). You simply didn’t work for Chico unless you were either A: a brand new girl with a skeezy agent, or B: tough enough to take it.

It’s also worth noting that even in her version of the story, when she got a tear, Chico and James wanted to stop, and SHE insisted on finishing the scene. So James didn’t put her out of work, SHE did.

I’ve also known Amber long enough to know that she has an extremely tenuous relationship with the truth. Just ask her “where are you right now,” and you’ll understand.

Which brings me to Tori Lux. You have to be a pretty major drug addict to get drummed out of porn, but she did it. I’ve been in porn long enough to know that James sitting on a girl’s chest holding her down and punching her in the face in the middle of a working shoot simply didn’t happen. That’s just not the real world.

Maybe all of this makes me a rape apologist. Apparently I’m not allowed to suggest that Stoya might just be flat-out lying, even though she has a history of threatening rape as a weapon. And the other girls listed above certainly weren’t chiming in “just to get attention.” That would never happen.

Draw your own conclusions. My conclusion is this is fucking ridiculous.

I reached out to the OP, he shared some emails he’s received in response…I will not be adding the names of the talent who sent them..

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: this is total bullshit.
Irrelevant performers jumping on a bandwagon trying to get out of irrelevance. James will always ask you to be vocal about your limit and immediately stops when you ask. You going past your comfort level to impress THE JAMES DEEN isn’t him raping you. He’s a huge asshole, complete dick but the most respectful partner I’ve ever had. I love Bryan he’s one of the few people I’ve kept in constant contact with after leaving the industry. I can take a beating and yeah I’ve pushed myself in scenes with him but the moment I stopped saying “thank you sir” and started saying ouch or no he instantly stopped and acted like I was the most breakable thing in the room. James is a dick but also a professional. This is his passion and he treats it like one. These allegations from a cunt of an ex girlfriend are bullshit. I have more to say but I’ll hold my tongue.
Thank you for putting this out into the world.

I’m not privy to all that’s gone on, but I had a similar conversation with James on a shoot . He’s sincerely sorry how things went down with Joanna. He said he handled it poorly and it pains him not to have a good relationship with her. He said he didn’t deserve to have her as a friend because she was so awesome and he was a shit. And he told me how it went with Stoya. Self preservation is what it seems to me – he got out while the getting was good. Obviously not now with what she’s saying….. Rape is such a tricky thing especially in this business. But in this business or in any other business, no is no. Not yes. And I think James truly gets and respects that. James is the first to acknowledge he can be a shit. I stand with him – and you know how I’m not a fan of rough, rough, rough sex. I still stand with my porn son James!!!!!
Love you,

I have a lot of respect for you standing up and voicing your opinion to put many rumors to rest with facts. I have never worked with James but believe that unfortunately, there are many people out there who believe everything before they know the facts, jump to conclusions and join the gossip mill instead of looking at things analytically with an open mind. Even more disappointing, that others would go so far to make such extreme, serious and egregious claims, which could not only destroy people’s lives, but also hurt the very industry which they work in, over immature, personal, bitterness issues or to obtain some extra spotlight. Thank you for being a voice of reason to the industry during this time.

I think the author of the letter meant to say “inflated.” He definitely didn’t mean “conflated,” which means to combine two ideas into one.

P.S. Just so we’re clear, you’re also implying that Derrick Pierce, and not just Lily LaBeau, is a liar, since he has corroborated every detail of LaBeau’s account.

I think you were smart not to put the guy’s name down. I’m guessing you helped him avoid feeling really stupid when Deen is brought up on charges.

You guys should share this article everywhere. Very well written. We cannot judge anyone based on a 140 word twitter bomb. James should concentrate more on his website and give great movies as usual. He should ignore these haters and concentrate on entertaining his fans.

One point is being missed. Just because the women he was involved with may have very well been emotionally unstable people, does not excuse his own role in the abuses he has been accused of. Psychopaths often seek out emotionally damaged people to abuse.

    So to recap:

    Stoya: Lying
Joanna: Telling only half the truth and also lying
Tori Lux: Lying and a drug addict
Amber: Exaggerating, Lying, Expected; Shouldn’t Be Making a Big Deal About It
Lily: Expected; Shouldn’t Be Making a Big Deal About It
Ashley: Innocent Mistake; Shouldn’t Be Making a Big Deal About It
Kora Peters: Not Mentioned but claims she was anally raped. I’m guessing some version of Lying/Expected; Shouldn’t Be Making a Big Deal About It?
T.M.: Anonymous woman who said she was raped. Lying?

So we should discount ALL EIGHT women as liars, exaggerators, and people who need to lighten up? EIGHT WOMEN? This James Deen is one unlucky guy. Or may it’s a conspiracy!

These porn people are such whack jobs. So an NFL football game is the same thing as a rough porn? That right there shows you this person doesn’t know what he is talking about. And not to publish the person’s name. That gives no credibility to this article at all.

    Message to James,

I hope you have the will, energy and finances to FIGHT this to the Supreme Court. Your lawyers have probably already suggested this.

Like Flint. Take a stand. It should not be legal for someone with enough followers on Social Media to blast anything they want and ruin a persons’ lively hood. It’s like yelling fire in a theater.

You ARE an ASS and you know it. You push the women. That is why you have been requested and hired by so many. Your working relationship with the women was an open secret within the industry. I’ve seen plenty of interviews and BTS with the women, they were informed participants. That is what makes your scenes so good. That is why there is the NO list. If you don’t want to get cut or burned, don’t become a chef. If a woman doesn’t want their boundaries pushed, not passed don’t do porn.

Personal and Private lives should mean just that. What is said or done behind closed doors is nobody’s business. Donald Sterling is proof enough. Relationships are hard with anyone but when you are in the public eye it seems impossible.

If you are not compatible with your partner at the time, separate, get a divorce. No need to tell everyone all the intimate details of the demise of the relationship. I know it’s easier said than done when you are dealing with a deranged personality. I only know of you and Stoya from your interviews and social media. I could tell she is a needy diva princess. You are a control freak.

Please fight for all the future people, men and women that will be harmed by Social Media.

If you win your name will go down in history like Roe v Wade or Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell

    Your fan

    1. It’s already been explained that the new video featuring James Deen on Stoya’s website was scheduled to be put up ages ago – she didn’t make that decision the day it went up.

    2. It’s extraordinarily common for rape/sexual assault victims to continue being friends with and having sex with the perpetrator. Your mind doesn’t want to believe that you were raped because it doesn’t want to believe it was out of control, so you subconsciously desire to have consensual encounters with the person to convince yourself that you actually were in control. It’s a very well-documented tendency and not at all suggestive that a rape didn’t occur. It’s also normal to be numb to the rape and to even keep hanging out with or working with the person for years afterward. None of this is abnormal or suggests that a rape didn’t occur.

    3. Even if Stoya did threaten to tell people that Deen raped her, I don’t understand how the fact that she did so after she was already allegedly raped is suggestive that it didn’t happen? All of these alleged threats are when they were breaking or broken up, after the alleged rape occurred.

Yeah this article is so douchey that it makes me believe he’s guilty harder. Also trying to DEFAME someone who is “crying rape” (fucked up terminology) after they’ve finally come forward is disgusting. Were you there when she was allegedly raped? No. So shut it, all of you. That little bit about Amber Rayne made me nauseaus. Fuck you. Having your ass ripped is not “normal” and if you really think it is then im changing my mind about bdsm kink in the porn industry. Even as a fem sub. Bryans shitty behavior is what got us to this point, I wish him well in whatever profession he goes to next. Hopefully it will be one where less people feel pressured or endangered by him. If you’re willing to list all the people excluding his gf in the industry taking his side, list the bigger names taking hers. Wolf, kayden, manuel, joanna obvi and that was so fucked up you have no right to analyse her relationship you weren’t there during her physical abuse, bonnie rotten, etc etc. Its not because you’re a man that we discount your opinion, after reading this i discount it because you read like a douchebag liar.

“She threatened to kill herself before and claimed raped before.” Doesn’t negate that she was raped. And the texts she sent him about claiming rape could have been actually talking about the real experience. She has mental illness and her behavior after? Pretty normal for sex assault survivors.

And with this comment he exposes his mindset:

“Everyone on set gets groped, molested, flirted with. Sexual harassment is our entire business model.”

He clearly thinks Deen’s highly inappropriate behavior is fine. Notice he said nothing about the male talents who spoke out about Deen.

With that said, a few of the accusers stories or actions are questionable. But overall, I think the majority are believable and one was even backed by two others.

Hi Ellen and everyone here, I dont know whether this article is true and have no clue why they are anonymous..very cowardly. Infact I dont take sides by reading any performers accusation because I am not a fool to believe some things just because everyone complains someone without any investigations or interviews. But If I go and post something in twitter like “Jamesdeen raped me too”, the count will be 9. We are all educated, we shouldnot take sides just because of the accusations made by 8 WOMEN. Lets wait until some investigations are carried out. This is a very dangerous trend, people can accuse anyone publicly and spit allegations. I believe the truth will definitely win soon..Victim could be either the 8 Women or the one man. Whoever it is, I feel very sorry for the victim. Until then, lets be patient and non judgemental.

Maybe Stoya “threatened” rape because she WAS actually raped and she was conflicted about coming forward? Are you stating that you were present with Deen and Stoya 24/7 throughout their entire relationship? If not, how can you know with certainty that she was not raped?

You’re also conveniently forgetting that many women ‘identify’ with their abusers long after they split up. If Stoya or any of the women had/have residual feelings for James, that is perfectly ‘normal’ in cycles of abuse.

And even if it’s partially true that all of the women you name above are more than a little off-balance, what does that in itself say about your industry that so many of its performers are unstable?

Sexual harassment is your entire business model? So then you are indeed arguing that these women should have known better, that they have no right to say “NO” if they put themselves in a professional or personal situation with Deen or any man? That’s exactly what I thought you meant.

I don’t know, despite the author’s lack of tact it’s believable for two reasons:

    1) If Deen wanted to file a defamation suit over this, their testimonials will be more valid in court having NOT been all over the media prior.

2)I’ve been on the wrong side of a desperate/manipulative relationship before and when someone threatens suicide it’s a pretty surefire sign they’re capable of anything to take themselves/you down not to lose you. It isn’t pretty and it’s the sign of a very ill person. If there’s a pattern of this behavior it can be established easily with texts and such in court.

As written, it does appear to contain enough half truths to persuade the feeble minded but for the most part, comes across like Deen trying to manipulate us yet again while hiding behind lawyer advice.

What kind of astounds me is the remarkable similarity in wording between these e-mails and what James Deen has posted to Twitter/his Daily Beast interview that went live a couple of hours ago…

The barriers that pertain to physical and sexual contact are very likely different to those that are generally practiced. However, as someone well-acquainted with the BDSM community, safewords are sacrosanct.

I believe Stoya, I believe the other performers who’ve spoken up. To those who doubt their motives, they’ve done nothing but risk their own marketability.

The next time you’re pleasuring yourself to porn, do you really want to turn on the screen and realise, ‘That woman getting DP’d was raped’?

If a player makes deliberate moves to hurt or incapacitate the other by forcing contact uncalled for, the referee or the umpire intervenes to control the situation and suspends or resumes the game after proper warning. this mysterious veteran needs to learn his sports analogies. since when is jaw lock or unconsented anal sex considered occupational hazard in porn business?

When Stoya made her accusation I didn’t want to believe it, but eight women coming forward with claims of physical and sexual assault and abuse? hmm … where’s there’s smoke there’s fire. So I did a lot of web-based research and have come to the conclusion that Deen is a sadist (he’s admitted it numerous times). The industry knows about his violent proclivities but protects him because he’s a money maker. As Zak Smith said, porn gives Deen a pass because “everybody gets paid and everybody gets laid”. Regarding the “everybody gets paid” part, the writer left out a vital piece of info re: Amber Rayne (may her soul rest in peace). Amber finished the scene because if she didn’t, no one on set that day would have been paid. She was a newbie and didn’t want to get herself blacklisted, black-balled, make waves, etc. and if I was a betting person I’d bet her agent advised to finish it so he could receive his commission as well. The writer, who is in the industry, knows this. His omission is tantamount to lying. He lies a second time when he says the footage of the scene proves Amber is lying. The footage of Deen striking Rayne with his fist and sodomizing her to the point where her rectum bled was NOT USED! Chico Wang, the director (may his soul RIP as well) said so. Instead, he and Rayne came up with a Plan B wherein Rayne did multiple BJs and facials (none with Deen). This is the footage that is seen in the movie, which in case anyone wants to know, is “No Swallowing Allowed #9”. Deen, IMO, is more than an asshole, a diva, and a prick. He is a man with a track record of deliberate aggressive and violent behavior against women that goes well beyond the boundaries of what’s acceptable for hard core porn.
