New York, NY, June 23, 2015–Alia Janine, the infamous porn star turned comedian premiered her brand, new podcast, Whormones, this week, co-hosted with comedian Jaqi Furback on The Misfits Network and on www.WhormonesPodcast.com.
“I am really excited to be getting back into podcasting! I’ve missed it! Jaqi and I love to challenge and pick on each other; it’s what makes our relationship so great. I think people are going to be really interesting in what we have to say,” says Alia.
“I’ve wanted to host a podcast for a while, but I’ve also wanted to make sure it was the right one, and I believe this is it. Alia and I represent opposite perspectives on a subject that I think people are still figuring out. From the hidden sex life of the 1950s, to the over-sexualization of today, I think we can explore each other’s viewpoints and find a middle ground,” says Jaqi.
The Whormones Podcast is touted as the “Anti-Feminist, Feminist Podcast” where two completely different points of view of sexuality, feminism, and life are discussed with politically incorrect humor and witty banter. Between Alia Janine’s wilder and more sexually experienced interpretations and Jaqi Furback’s biting and more conservative demeanor it’s making them the most lovable and hilarious odd couple to hit the airwaves since Howard and Robin.
Whormones is also currently being developed into a live, comedy show featuring some of comedy’s most talented women, which will premiere in New York City this summer.
