Could Farrah Abraham be the next Kim Kardashian?
We doubt it, but the former reality star’s porn video “Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom” , who coughed up cash to watch her 70-minute X-rated romp with porn star James Deen, reports TMZ.
Sources told the website, the former “Teen Mom” star’s video not only crashed Vivid’s site, but it crushed the previous record held by Kardashian and Ray J in their tape “Kim K Superstar,” which attracted 600,000 viewers in the same time frame.
Abraham admitted that she doesn’t plan on watching Vivid’s cut of the porn video, but she seems pleased that she’s getting good reviews.
“I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from men and women telling me this is the best sex tape they’ve ever seen from a celebrity so I’m humbled,” she told RadarOnline.
That kind of response isn’t surprising, since Abraham’s tape is far more explicit than Kardashian’s. And although Abraham has already scored an alleged $1 million payday for the film, and a low six-figure endorsement deal for a “diet and fat-loss” pill, we’re not sure her porn video will launch her career in the same way as Kim’s.
Last month, sources told Us Weekly that Abraham was “desperate” to revive her career since her stint on the MTV show ended in September 2012:
“She tried to recruit a boyfriend for ‘Couples Therapy,'” a friend of Abraham’s told the magazine. “But no one would do it.”
We can almost guarantee a lengthy career doesn’t await Abraham, but for now, she’s become pretty astute at stretching out her 15 minutes of fame.
