TRPWL has learned from several sources that the adult industry’s PASS testing protocols have detected a performer with a preliminary HIV-positive diagnosis. The patient, identified as a TS performer with a connection to the Phoenix, Arizona area, has reportedly been out of the talent pool for months and sought to re-enter the business.
The performer’s last shoot was reportedly approximately 4 months ago for Devil’s Films. It is not yet known when the performer last tested under PASS protocols, or indeed if the performer had ever done so in the past, as TS content is sometimes shot under the rules for “gay” content production, i.e., producers of some TS content may only require condoms instead of testing, and/or may accept a longer window period Elisa antibody test of the kind still used by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) in place of the more sensitive PCR testing required under PASS protocols.
Should these reports be confirmed, it would bring the total of HIV-positive talent from the Phoenix area to four.
