LOS ANGELES, CA – (JULY 23, 2015) – Award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter and contract superstar Stormy Daniels is poised to release the most ambitious project of her career, the sprawling Western epic Wanted. A co-production between industry powerhouses Wicked Pictures and Adam & Eve, the big-budget adventure saga finds Ms. Daniels supported by Wicked’s jessica drake, Brad Armstrong and a sultry posse comprised of 2015 AVN Female Performer of the Year Anikka Albrite, X-Critic Best Actress Allie Haze and AVN / XRCO award winner Amber Rayne. Slated for a September 2015 release, Wanted is the crowning achievement in a year that has seen the veteran Wicked Girl earning critical raves and high profile nominations in more genres than ever before.
Key to Ms. Daniels’ success in 2015 has been her commitment to quality and diversity. “My goal for this past year has been to really challenge myself as a filmmaker,” she reveals. “It’s really been encouraging to see this translate into a series of AVN Editor’s Choice reviews, first for When It Comes To You and more recently with Pretty Dangerous and Waiting On Love. The recently announced NightMoves Awards nominations saw the respected magazine sharing AVN’s enthusiasm; her fine work in front of the camera was recognized in the Best Female Performer category, while the overall excellence of her output as a filmmaker earned a Best Director (Features) nomination. Pretty Dangerous, her lighthearted adventure co-starring Asa Akira, Anikka Albrite and Allie Haze, was honored with a Best Feature Production nomination. Of these nominations, Ms. Daniels’ is quick to thank NightMoves’ editors and voters “for their continued love and support of all my movies each year.”
Created for the romance-oriented Wicked Passions imprint, When It Comes to You and Waiting on Love are the latest titles in the franchise to be honored with Editor’s Choice reviews. Looking at her work in other genres, Ms. Daniels’ considers her sexy romp Dirty Deeds, in which she co-stars with Dahlia Sky, Gabriella Paltrova, Lea Lexis and Misty Stone, to be her finest comedy of the year. Never one to remain content in any given genre for very long, she’s continuing to expand her palette with this month’s razor sharp erotic thriller Impulse. Girlfriends, her first all-girl release in the Wicked Passions line, will arrive on retail shelves in August.
Scheduled for release as a two-disc DVD set September 16th, Wanted finds Ms. Daniels returning to the blockbuster territory she mined so successfully in such mega-productions as Operation Desert Stormy and Operation Tropical Stormy nearly a decade ago. “This was an eight year passion project of mine and it has turned out amazing well,” she enthuses. “I couldn’t be more proud to have the support of two of the industry’s biggest companies, Wicked Pictures & Adam and Eve.
